How to Use Culinary Herbs Medicinally [Free Guide!]

If you’re trying to support your health with herbs, the easiest way to start is with culinary herbs. I’ve have been on a healing journey for many years now.

I started with changing my diet (as I recommend to anyone trying to support their body’s natural health).

But after getting my diet and lifestyle in line with my health goals, I started to include herbs to support my body.

Herbs are a great way to give the body a little support and to boost the amazing ways the body takes care of itself.

Why Use Herbs?

Herbs have been used for many hundreds of years to support the body in reaching optimal health. Modern medicine is great for serious issues, but for many milder issues, herbs are a great way to go.

Of course, herbs aren’t going to help much if you don’t also take care of your diet and lifestyle, but as an addition to a healthy lifestyle, herbs are amazing!

(Always check with your doctor before trying herbs!)

Why Culinary Herbs?

If you’re new to herbal medicine, culinary herbs are a great way to get your feet wet. For the most part, culinary herbs are safe (though do your research before using them!) and effective for many of the everyday ailments we suffer from. This includes:

  • stomach aches
  • coughs
  • colds
  • flus
  • sore throats

It’s also great that culinary herbs are so easy to get your hands on. Many people already have them in their kitchens. If you’re up for it, they’re also really easy to grow at home. I recommend growing your herbs if you can, since they will be incredibly fresh, but you can also buy them online or from local farmers for the best quality.
