I just cleaned out our closet of clothes that we don’t wear anymore and I feel fantastic. It’s amazing what a little bit of physical clutter clearing can do to un-clutter your mind. It’s equally amazing what kind of stuff we were holding onto (old stained shirts and clothes that are too big). There are 5 main reasons that I enjoy clutter free spaces.
– less stuff means more space
– fewer clothes means less time deciding what to wear
– I feel good when I can donate my things so that someone else may use them
– It makes me feel more relaxed when I’m in a clean and clutter free space
– I feel more free
But I have to constantly remind myself that I would have less to declutter if I didn’t bring as much stuff into my space to begin with.
